may 6th  kalllagar came to vandiyur. this festival is celebreted every year very grantly. in this festival lord Alagar came from Alagar temple to Vandiyur Veeraragave perumal temple. this festival is feast for everybody's eyes . people from different areas of tamilnadu visit madurai to get blessings of lord Alagar.drums, Tamilnadu's traditional tappatam,etc are happens in this function. bunch of youngsters glittering faces, love, romance, friendship, bravery, guts, fights, these all gives taste of life. people waits for more than 12 hours to see alagar. really super experience i enjoyed a lot.
